Q07: Is Oligo the same as MS Internet Explorer?
Oligo does use some of the technology of Internet Explorer. However, Oligo has more than the features of Internet Explorer such as the Oligo manager where you can customize your favorites websites. For more differences, see our Browser Comparison page

Q10: How do I resize my browser? Why aren't some sides of the browser resizable? 
- The side which can be resized will show a double arrow when your cursor is over the edge.
- Some browsers can be resized, others can only be resized on one side and some cannot be resized at all. This depends on the skin that is used.

Q11: What mail programs can I use with Oligo?
Oligo will use the same default mail program that you use for MS Internet Explorer. MS Outlook and Outlook Express have been tested to work with Oligo.

Q12: How do I know the functions of each button?
 Just place your cursor over the button and it will show a tip that will inform you the function of the button.

Q013: Why do the skins look too big for my screen? I'm on 640x480 resolution. 
 Most skins require a minimum of 800x600 and above resolution for the skins to look good. If it doesn't fit your resolution, you can resize the skin or change your resolution by going to the "Start" Menu -> "Settings" -> "Control Panel" -> Display ->Settings and select "Screen Area" -> More either 800x600 pixels or 1024x768 pixels depending on the size of your monitor.

Q014: How do I get Oligo to/not to start up when I boot up my computer? 
Oligo starts up automatically when it is installed. You can select whether or not you want Oligo to start up with your PC by do a right click on the Oligo icon in the system tray. Select "Options" and check/uncheck "Run Oligo Manager during Windows Startup".

Q15: Why does some of the options in "Font & Color Options" not work when I select them? 
Some Websites have already specified particular font sets, background and other formatting such that you may not change them.

Q16: How do I uninstall Oligo? 
To uninstall Oligo, be sure that you first exit Oligo by doing a right click on the Oligo Icon and choosing the menu item exit. Next, go to the windows control panel and select the "Add/Remove Program" Icon, select Oligo and click on the button "Add/Remove".

Q17: I uninstalled Oligo and now when I click on a jpeg file, I get a popup message looking for Oligo. How do I resolve the problem.
Download and run the restore.reg file to restore your jpeg link to Microsoft PhotoEd program.

To run the restore.reg file, right click on it and select merge. It will ask if you want to merge the registry, select yes.
